Welcome to Lauren App! We’re delighted to have you join our community of pregnant and postpartum individuals who are dedicated to tracking their health and wellness. Before you get started, please take a moment to review the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) that govern your use of our app and the services provided.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lauren App (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

Lauren App is designed to help pregnant and postpartum women track their blood pressure, stress levels, and social needs. The App allows users to input and monitor their health data and provides features to support their well-being during this critical time.

3. Data Privacy and Sharing

a. Data Collection: The App collects and processes personal health information (“PHI”) and personal data necessary for its functionality, including but not limited to blood pressure readings, stress levels, and social well-being indicators.

b. Data Usage: Your PHI and personal data will be used to provide you with personalized insights and recommendations to support your health goals.

c. Data Sharing: By downloading the app, you are opting in and authorize Lauren App (owned and operated by Health Evolve Technologies, LLC) to share your PHI and personal data with members of your care team (such as healthcare providers and caregivers) via a HIPAA compliant platform. This sharing is intended to enhance the coordination and quality of your healthcare.

d. Data Security: We take the security of your data seriously. All data transmission and storage comply with HIPAA regulations and industry standards for data security.

4. User Responsibilities

a. Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you input into the App.

b. Healthcare Provider: The App is not a diagnostic tool and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All healthcare management decisions and concerns should be directed to your licensed healthcare provider.

c. Compliance: You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

d. User Accounts: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Limitation of Liability

a. Disclaimer: The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

b. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lauren App shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
